Mark Rubin

President and Chief Executive Officer

Mark began his career in the food industry with King Kullen and Pathmark Foods in New York after graduating from Long Island University in 1973. Mark has dedicated the past thirty plus of his life building the most professional sales team of any foodservice marketing company in the region.

Mark and the Sunbelt team has earned numerous supplier Broker of the Year awards including Reuben Meats,, Seaboard Farms, House of Raeford Farms, Carolina Turkeys, Dietz & Watson, Ottenberg’s Bakery, T.W. Garner, ACH Foods and Southern Pride. 

Among customer awards Sunbelt Foods Company has earned The Supplier of the Year Award from Blimpie International, Huddle House Restaurants, Papa’s Pizza to Go, Glover/Auten Foodservice, Alliant Foodservice, Belca Foodservice, Atlanta Bread Company and Spicy Pickle. Mark has also served as Chairman of the National Council of Kahala Suppliers.


Adam Schulhofer

Vice President of Sales and Partner

Adam’s experience in Foodservice began in 1991 as a host/waiter for Bennigans Tavern. By 1992 he became a front of the house manager, and went on to be Kitchen Manager. Bennigans liked his people skill abilities and utilized him as a trouble-shooter. 

Because Adam has a colorful personality and is unafraid to address large groups, he became a corporate training manager for both Steak and Ale and Bennigans in 1993. 

1994 brought Adam an offer to become a district manager for Gorin’s Homemade /Great Wraps and, because of his ability, was soon promoted to Director of Operations. In 1996 he was recruited to become Director of Training for Blimpie International. In 1999 Adam accepted an offer to create and implement the Director of Training position for Atlanta Bread Company.

Adam joined Sunbelt Foods Company in February of 2000 where he relies on his extensive background in the multi-unit arena to work with chain accounts. 

Brian Froman 

Vice President-West

Brian began his career in the food industry working part-time in a delicatessen while attending high school. Upon graduating, Brian became assistant manager and quickly moved up to General Manager where he ran a million dollar a year restaurant. 

Brian began with Sunbelt Foods Company as an account manager working with foodservice distributors, regional and national accounts. Brian now supports Sunbelt Foods sales efforts on the west coast developing new opportunities for the Company, running the Denver office of Sunbelt Foods.

Mark Overbye
Distributor and Chain Sales Mgr

Mark serves as the Distributor and Chain Sales Manager for Sunbelt Foods. Mark spent 23 years with H.J. Heinz Foodservice working the southeast as a Territory Supervisor and for five years as the Field Chain Manager. Mark’s duties at Sunbelt include distributor sales management and chain account sales throughout the southeast.

Terry Williams

Inside Sales / Customer Service Manager
Terry is a graduate of Florida State University with a Business degree in Hospitality Administration. She brings 30 + years’ knowledge of the food service industry to the Sunbelt Team. Including experience in restaurant & special event management with Hyatt Hotel and the High Museum of Art. Terry came to Sunbelt Foods after working for 12 years with Greenwood Ice Cream where she oversaw national sales, and all aspects of office administration, marketing & customer service.
